Misato HANAWA  Praised for her ‘brilliance and maturity’ (The Guardian) She is invited to give recitals in the most prestigious venues all over the world such as the Opera city Hall, Selmer Paris,Marietta Opera House.She is also regularly invited to festivals including La folle Journee au Japon, World Saxophone Comgress.Misato performs with numerous orchestras including the Israel solist Orchestre Philharmonique,Wien National Orchestra,Japan Century Orchestra. Misato explores a wide range of repertoire, from the baroque to works by contemporary composers. She is an avid chamber musician and an extremely inquisitive performer and enjoys working on new works by modern composers, as well as resurrecting rarely performed repertoire. These aspects of her career are reflected in Misato’ critically acclaimed discography, which includes works by”Hommage a Edit Piaf”.Her most recent CD, of”Rondo Capriccioso“was awarded the prestigious Magazine in 2019. Born in Japan 1984, Misato  graduated 1st Prize Gold Medal from the Conservatoire de Cergy-Pontoise and Conservatoire Cambrais Master diplome. She is the laureate of several prestigious international competitions,1st Prize at U.F.A.M. International Music Competition(Special Prize)in France,Leopold Bellan International Music competition,International North Music Competition.Special Prize at International Concerto Competition in Busan.3rd Prize at World Music Competition in Spain. Misato has been a featured philanthropy project based in the world, whose purpose is to bring classical music to institutions and organizations (School,hospitals and shelters) where people may not have an opportunity to experience it live in a traditional setting.
